PeeDee and Hazelnut are a couple of Old Friends Alumni, these miniature horses were adopted and went on to find their loving forever homes.
PeeDee
PeeDee is a gorgeous Miniature Horse but nobody’s told him about the miniature part yet! PeeDee came to Old Friends Canada as an anxious, undernourished stud, in need of veterinary and farrier care. He did very well with a little bit of love. PeeDee came to us young and a local Monty Roberts trainer offered her time to get him socialized and gave him a job as a driver. PeeDee found his forever home amongst a herd of minis, and guess who is in charge?
Hazelnut
Hazelnut came to Old Friends Canada as a very obese mini. After a fall and winter she lost enough weight and found a new home at a horse resort near Williams Lake. Hazelnut’s job is to be companion to a retired dude ranch horse, and she is always spoiled by the lodge guests.
