Mocha

Mocha is a standardbred and has been with us for about 5 years. She had a very successful racing career, earning her owners more than $250,000. When her time came to retire from racing they attempted to breed her but she never got pregnant. Too often when a former racing horse is not able to make babies they are at high risk of entering the slaughter pipeline. Thankfully her owners loved her enough to save her from that fate and surrendered her to Old Friends Canada.
